OneWater Marine acquires Caribee Boat Sales

Atlanta-based OneWater Marine Holdings has acquired Caribee Boat Sales and Marina from Islamorada, Florida. Caribee has served the Florida Keys since 1947. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“We are delighted to welcome Caribee Boat Sales and Marina to the OneWater family of dealers,” said Austin Singleton, CEO of OneWater Marine. “Bill and his team have built a wonderful facility and bayfront operation in central Islamorada. We look forward to the contributions Caribee will make to our growing portfolio of dealers and marinas. “

“As I was considering retiring, I wanted to make sure I put this 72 year old company in good hands,” said Bill Gilbert of Caribee Boat Sales and Marina. “OneWater’s strong financial health, coupled with a very experienced management team, gave me the confidence to know that under their leadership, Caribee would continue to grow and prosper. “

Caribee Boat Sales offers Grady White, Pursuit, Maverick, Pathfinder, Hewes and Invincible fishing boats. Caribee is the only certified Yamaha re-feeding center in the Upper Keys; and offers an indoor storage facility that can accommodate boats up to 32 feet in length.

The company will continue to operate its current location as Caribee Boat Sales and Marina. All existing staff must remain with the company.
