MUSKEGON, MI – The Muskegon Lakeshore Home, Garden and Boat Show returns to a new location this year.
The home, garden and boat show will be the first public event held at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in downtown Muskegon, 470 W. Western Ave., according to a press release.
The planned in-person event, which will take place in three months, depends on COVID-19 restrictions.
The 2021 show plans to follow COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines from April 16 to 17.
“We hope that by April we can host indoor events with limited capacity,” Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce President Cindy Larsen said in a statement.
The $ 21 million convention center is slated to open early this year.

Over 50 exhibitors will be in the spotlight, including windows, siding, paint, landscaping and, for the first time, boats. DIY demonstrations and seminars will also be offered.
Larsen said in a press release that organizers were excited to add “even more great local businesses” with boat dealers and marine exhibitors.
Last year’s lakeside home and garden show came to an untimely end due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The mid-March event only lasted a day before a decree canceled it.
The event begins Friday, April 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and continues on Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Companies interested in attending this year’s show can apply online.
