We’ve spotted the deal of a lifetime if you’re tired of expensive rents in Vancouver, but there’s a caveat: your rental home would be a boat.
This boat in question is a her, a 28-foot Silverton Command Bridge.
“It is equipped with a very comfortable and spacious V-shaped birth that can comfortably accommodate 2-3 people”, indicates the Facebook market list. But it’s actually listed as a bed and a tub.
The kicker? It’s only $200 a month, well below the city’s average monthly rent.
But again, you’re on a boat.
The listing suggests this boat would let you “explore British Columbia and life on the cheap,” and the person listing it is open to short and long-term rentals.
Photos from SS Happy Hour – not the official name – show a boat in fairly good condition.
Amenities include a seating area with a large table that converts into a single bed. Additionally, there is a “good sized” bathroom with a new pump and separate sink and mirror.
The controls seem like fun to use once you get the hang of it.
The listing suggests the boat is “very comfortable and spacious”.
For all your catering needs, there is a propane stove and a BBQ with individual shut-off. There is also a large kitchen sink and even a microwave powered by shore power.
Mooring is not included, but the advertiser suggests it is around $250 per month.
Do you think you could handle life in this Vancouver boat rental?
